Background
Inclusive small-group conversations are essential for collaboration, learning, and belonging. However, supporting balanced participation requires feedback that is both informative and socially comfortable. Designing feedback that encourages inclusion while remaining acceptable and non-disruptive is a key challenge.
Goal
Design and evaluate 3D feedback mechanisms that support inclusive participation in small group conversations while remaining social acceptability.
My Role
· Developed an AR prototype (HoloLens 2) to foster more inclusive small-group conversations via 3D
visualization of participation dynamics
· Conducted survey study with 50+ participants analyzing effects of feedback styles and visibility
· Submitting to CHI '2026
